Third Term Limits

Third-Term Limit has been a very hot topic.  There are pros and cons, however I believe the majority falls under the cons.  Many feel their democratic rights have been  usurped, tossed to the curb and spit out to dry.  "Where is the transparency?"  How can the person running for election change the rules for his/her own good?

However, we're in such a spiral financial downfall, who in his/her sane mind would want to tackle the issues we face?  Moreover, who is prepared to step in and resolve many of the fiscal woes of the communities, individuals and economic growth?

Mayor Mike Bloomberg and Mayoral Candidate, Bill Thompson, continue to banter over this issue. Some Primary candidates, in September 15th's race unexpectedly lost responsible posts because they supported the Mayor in his third term ruling.

On Friday, October 15th, I interviewed Mayoral Candidate William C. Thompson, Jr. Although he's pro referendum/against 3rd-term candidate Mayor Bloomberg, our conversation focused on what Bill Thompson will do if elected Mayor of NYC on November 3rd, 2009. Watch and listen on: October 29th, at 7 PM. Cable: Time Warner ch. 34, RCN ch. 82 and Fios ch. 33. Or stream it on: www.MNN.org. Mayor Bloomberg's Office has yet to respond to my invitation for an interview.
